Composition for piano

Boundless

Inspired by and in honour of the trials and tribulations of 19th century prophet Bahá'u'lláh

I wrote this piece inspired by and in honour of the trials and tribulations of 19th century prophet Bahá'u'lláh who experienced the harshest and gruelling conditions in the Siyáh-Chál (the Black Pit) for four months. No daylight entered that terrible pit... it was a foul, stench-ridden, rat-infested place.

But from this bitter adversity was revealed a power that was to change the world. He wrote to all the Kings, Queens and rulers and shared a message of peace, unity, justice and equality.

I would like to dedicate this piece also to all who are struggling with turmoil, whether inner or outer, who need release and relief, light, love and prayer, empowerment and protection.

I released this piece in memorandom of the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb and the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh, both central figures of the Bahá'i faith  Boundless was recorded live by John Sampson in All Saints Church, Higham. Please use freely in your homes, communities, meditations, devotionals and gatherings!
